Protectby SCALESBetaJust got drained
Getting drained is frightening, and it is not your fault for being targeted. There are a few things you can do right now to stop it getting worse, and we will walk you through them calmly.
The honest truth first: our reimbursement only applies if your protection was approved before the drain happened. If it was not set up in advance, we cannot reimburse this one. We will not pretend otherwise. But the steps below still matter, and you can protect yourself from here on.
In order. The first two are the most urgent.
If any tokens or SOL remain, create a fresh wallet (new seed phrase, on a device you trust) and send everything there now. Attackers often come back to sweep the rest, so speed matters more than tidiness.
A drain can keep running through a delegate, a permission you gave a program to move tokens from your account. Open our free revoke tool, connect the affected wallet, and revoke any delegate you do not recognize. Phantom, Solflare and Backpack also have a built-in revoke.
Treat that wallet and its seed phrase as burned. Never enter that seed phrase anywhere again, on any site, for any reason. Do not try to "clean" it and keep using it.
Within hours you may get DMs or replies from "recovery experts" or "fund recovery" services. Every single one is a follow-up scam. No one can reverse an on-chain drain for a fee. Do not pay them, do not share your screen, do not connect your wallet.
Paste the affected wallet and we will show its most recent transactions and check whether it had protection. This is read-only. We never move your funds.
If this wallet had approved coverage before the drain, file a claim and a person will review it.
File a claimYou cannot claim a drain that happened before protection was approved. Set it up now so your next wallet is covered.
Set up protectionDrain protection is a discretionary, community-treasury reimbursement for SCALES holders. It is not insurance, not a guarantee of payment, and is provided at our sole discretion. It only applies when coverage was approved before a drain.
